9:6 “But if you or your sons ever turn away from me, fail to obey the regulations and rules I instructed you to keep, ¹  and decide to serve and worship other gods, ²

12:24 ‘The Lord says this: “Do not attack and make war with your brothers, the Israelites. Each of you go home, for I have caused this to happen.”’” ³  They obeyed the Lord and went home as the Lord had ordered them to do. ⁴

19:18 I still have left in Israel seven thousand followers who have not bowed their knees to Baal or kissed the images of him.” ⁵
